Early Head Start
Setting up children for future success, one day at a time.
In partnership with Macomb Community Action (MCA) Office of Head Start 0-5, we provide services within the home to expectant mothers and those with children age birth through three residing in Macomb County. The goal of the program is to enhance the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of infants and toddlers from low-income families while increasing school readiness. For pregnant women, the goal is to assist with accessing comprehensive prenatal and post-partum care and education, as well as to support parents’ efforts to fulfill their parental roles in caring, consistent, positive, and nurturing ways. Early Head Start also helps parents achieve their own goals, including educational advancement, economic security, and self-sufficiency
