Judson Center Board of Trustees member Tricia Ruby receives Crain’s Detroit Business 2021 Notable Nonprofit Board Member recognition

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — March 29, 2021—Judson Center, a multi-county human service agency and designated Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), is pleased to announce that long-term Board of Trustees member Tricia Ruby has been recognized by Crain’s Detroit Business as a 2021 Notable Nonprofit Board Member. According to Crain’s, Notable Nonprofit Board Members provide fiscal stewardship, recruit talented executive leadership, and champion the nonprofit’s mission in the community. Ruby and the other honorees were selected by a team of Crain’s editors based on their career accomplishments, track record of success in the field, contributions to their community, and mentorship of others.

Ruby is President and CEO of Bingham Farms, Michigan-based Ruby + Associates, Inc., a structural engineering firm serving the construction industry. She has served on the Judson Center Board of Trustees since 2013 and was board chair from January 2019 – January 2021. She returned to the trustee role when her term as board chair expired in January.

Judson Center President and CEO Lenora Hardy-Foster congratulated Ruby and expressed gratitude for her ongoing service.

“Tricia Ruby is truly a role model board member who brings a common-sense approach, creativity, and wise counsel to the organization and the board,” Hardy-Foster said. “As board chair during the height of the pandemic, she played an integral role in helping guide Judson Center though very difficult decision-making processes.
