Crain’s Detroit Business Names Lenora Hardy-Foster as a 2023 Notable Leader in Behavioral Health

Lenora Hardy-Foster has led Judson Center as its President & CEO since 2016. She is committed to strengthening the well-being and potential of children, adults and families through services in behavioral and physical health, autism, foster care, adoption and disabilities. Under her strategic direction, the agency’s operating budget rose from $16.5 million in 2016 to $30 million today. Lenora has forged numerous partnerships to expand the life-changing work of Judson Center and its subsidiaries. She works diligently with the Board of Trustees and Executive Leadership Team to build upon the agency’s nearly 100-year-old legacy. Lenora demonstrates a practice of diversity, equity and inclusion that resonates from the top to the entire Judson Center team in their interactions with consumers and each other. She supports a DEI plan to increase diversity in the agency’s leadership roles and hold workforce training sessions. Judson Center’s commitment to DEI was noted when it was named a finalist for Crain’s 2021 Best-Managed Nonprofit. Additionally, Lenora was named one of Crain’s Notable Women in Nonprofits in 2022. Lenora is a leader in the community, serving on several boards and volunteering for causes that positively impact children and families.
