Funds Benefit Agency’s Services for Children, Families and Adults.
Farmington Hills, MI – It was a winning day on the links for human services agency Judson Center, which raised over $190,000 at its 32nd annual Corporate Golf Challenge on August 26th at Shepherd’s Hollow Golf Club in Clarkston.
More than 200 golfers and spectators attended the event, which raised money for the agency’s vital programs in foster care, adoption, mentoring, behavioral and physical health, autism, and disabilities.
“This fundraiser enables us to reach even more children, families and adults who need our services,” said Judson Center President & CEO Lenora Hardy-Foster. “We had a wonderful day of golfing on the beautiful championship course at Shepherd’s Hollow. The corporations that joined us for fun, food and friendship are making a huge difference in the lives of the more than 13,000 people we serve each year. We are so appreciative of their support for our mission.”
The co-presenting sponsors for the golf outing were Barton Malow and Ruby + Associates, Inc. Additional sponsors included Kaiser Enterprise; AISIN Group; Bank of Ann Arbor-Birmingham; Ghafari Associates; Giarmarco, Mullins & Horton, P.C.; The Jamar Company; John E. Green Company; Mike Savoie Chevrolet; RBE Incorporated; Superior Electric; and Trane. Several other companies also contributed to the fundraiser.
This year’s planning committee was co-chaired by Alan Blanchette and Romano Curti from Barton Malow and Tricia Ruby of Ruby + Associates, Inc. Guests enjoyed 18 holes of golf, a delicious strolling lunch, a formal program, and a raffle.
