Royal Oak, Mich.—September 2, 2020—Child Safe Michigan, an affiliate of Judson Center, announced its annual Pull! for Kids fundraiser is scheduled for Thursday, September 24, at the Detroit Gun Club in Walled Lake. New COVID-19 precautions will be implemented this year to ensure that social distancing and CDC safety protocols are followed for the enjoyment of participants.

“Events that support Child Safe Michigan are critical to funding our ongoing child welfare services,” Judson Center President and CEO Lenora Hardy-Foster said. “We are so grateful to our longstanding donors and to those who are just getting to know Child Safe and Judson Center and the many ways that we help keep Michigan children and families safe and healthy.”

Now in its 11th year, the sporting clays tournament benefits Child Safe Michigan programs and services that ensure abused and at-risk children in Southeast Michigan continue to have the security and protection they need in order to live healthy and happy lives. Last year, the organization provided foster care services to 110 children, matched 70 mentors and mentees, and helped 26 children find forever homes through adoption.

“We are happy to celebrate 11 years of presenting Pull! for Kids,” said event chair Joe Yamin. “This annual event has a strong history of making a difference in the lives of children who are suffering through traumatic experiences by supporting Child Safe Michigan with the resources needed to give these children a safe home and real hope for the future.”

Pull! for Kids is presented by Huron Valley Guns. All skill levels are welcome to this action-packed tournament, featuring 75 rounds of sporting clays. Each team will be provided with targets, all standard ammunition, ear and eye protection, shooting cart and a puller for assistance. After the tournament, participants will enjoy a delicious meal and awards program.
