Group Homes

Judson Center believes people with developmental disabilities reach their maximum potential in a challenging environment. We have created such an environment by providing loving homes for adult men and women over the age of 18 with developmental disabilities. Individuals are cared for in six group homes located in Oakland County; each home is a family-like unit with 24-hour care and supervision.

The ultimate goal of the Adult Residential Living program is to enable adults with developmental disabilities to live in their least restrictive environment. The program enables the physical and social growth of each person in order to promote a higher level of independence and self-sufficiency. Residents are trained on social skills, self care skills, and household activities. Recreational activities are also an integral part of the program. All residents work in the community, holding jobs in competitive employment.
